It is every simmers dream to have a full on, fully functional aircraft simulator. Alot of simmers either build general aviation simulators or build a simulator of their aircraft such as the B747, 737, A340, ect. ect. With me, my dream is to build a fixed base Boeing 747 Simulator.
Thats the dream anyways. I've decided to undertake a project thats not going to cost me a load of money to build and that is to create a 3D model of the B747-400 interior cockpit using an animation and visual effects program called 3D Studio Max. I've already began modeling the overhead panel of the 747. This page will show images detailing the progress of this project.
I have toyed around with modeling 3D objects in 3DS Max but this project will prove to be a mammoth undertaking and will most likely learn new things.
